window sampling
MEL can provide a range of window sampling services dependant on the needs of the client.
Our entry level equipment consists of a power pack unit with hand held hammer to drive the
sampling rods. This can be supplemented with either a manual or hydraulic extraction unit
dependant on the geology and depth of sampling. This system is ideal for small projects or
sampling in areas with limited access.
For more comprehensive surveys we can provide a Geotool track mounted rig. These rigs are
compact thus enabling them to be mobilised to site in the back of a transit. They are capable
of operating a range of sampling techniques, undertaking SPT’s and the installation of small
diameter wells and injection points.
