Operational petrol station, Diss
A flow line failure to one of the diesel pumps on site resulted in hydrocarbon impact to the underlying soils and groundwater.
To enable the site to continue to operate and sell fuel, an insitu Multi Phase Extraction system was installed.
This system was supplemented with a proprietary Soil Washing process to reduce the contamination to the agreed residual criteria over a twelve month period.
In order to ensure that impact to neighboring residential properties did not occur a migration control system was installed around the perimeter of the site.
