The site located in a residential area of south London with properties bounding three sides of the forecourt.
A failure on a four star suction line led to a loss of product and the subsequent impact to the underlying soils and groundwater.
An insitu multi phase extraction system was installed together with a migration control barrier to the site perimeter.
Due to the high volume of sales at the site the client required that the site remained operational throughout the installation and subsequent nine month remediation period.
